The design of this 1135ml pitcher is tall and straightforward. The vertical lines of the cut decoration optically stretch the pitcher even more. The decor is inspired by lavender branches, which are represented by dense, deeply indented vertical lines. The perfect pitcher for colorful, flowery lemonades and iced teas - like Lavender-Lemonade made of freshly squeezed lemon juice, lavender syrup and mineral water.
The pitcher's handle is square and has a flat surface. Matching the glasses of the 'Jules' series, the jug is slightly rounded towards the bottom. The contrasts of square and round, solid material and floral decor, make the design exciting and yet combine to create a pleasant overall impression.
The crystal glass used by Nachtmann is robust yet clear and brilliant. Last but not least, the pitcher is suitable for dishwashers.
The origins of F. X. Nachtmann Bleikristallwerke GmbH go back to 1834. The glass cutter Michael Nachtmann initially produced bottles, jugs and drinking glasses together with 25 glassmakers in the glassworks Herzogau in Unterhütte near Waldmünchen. In the decades that followed, the company grew continuously and relocated the production site several times. Around the turn of the century, Nachtmann came to Neustadt an der Waldnaab, today's headquarters. Shortly after the production of lead crystal was introduced (1912), a new plant was built in Amberg in 1920. After the end of the Second World War and the reconstruction of the destroyed production facilities, the company started producing lead crystal again. The end of the 20th century was marked by takeovers and cooperations. In 1990 the well-known crystal glass factory Spiegelau was taken over and in the following year a production cooperation was entered into with Rosenthal AG under the technical and commercial management of Nachtmann. In 2004, the takeover of the company and its subsidiary Spiegelau by Riedel Glas created one of the largest quality glass manufacturers in Europe. Since then, Riedel Glass Works has combined the brands of the Austrian wine glass manufacturer Riedel, Nachtmann and Spiegelau.
