In fact, this mortar and its pestle are made of mixed steel and have a sleek design that combined reaches a height of 19,5cm. Both, the mortar and the pestle are richly decorated in the form of engraved grooves and curves. The calyx of the mortar also features an engraved lettering of the manufacturer.
