White wine glasses
White wine glasses generally come with less volume and a smaller diameter compared to glasses for red wine. The elusive aromas shouldn't have a big contact area with the air and otherwise the wine would warm up too fast. The comparatively narrow opening is an important factor when drinking and enjoying white wine. The wine should hit the sweetness-sensitive tip of the tongue first and only after that its rearmost margins; this way, acids won't get overemphasised.
