When cooling surfaces are large and processes run continuously, quantity and consistency are required. The Brema G 510A HC flake ice maker delivers up to 435 kg of flake ice per 24 hours – fine, malleable, and reliably dosable. The ice flakes (approx. −0,5 °C) cling to products, distribute the cold evenly, and can be dispensed precisely by weight or volume.

This is how the gently cooling snow is created: Water freezes as a wafer-thin layer in the cylindrical stainless steel evaporator. A rotating screw continuously lifts this layer and shreds it into uniform, loose flakes. This creates flat cold pads with a large contact surface – ideal for sensitive goods and stable processes.

The air-cooled version is a sensible solution in many cases – provided that there are free air supply and exhaust paths at the installation site and sufficient distance from walls and other equipment. R290 (propane) is used in the refrigeration cycle: an energy-efficient refrigerant that is modern and has a very low greenhouse effect.

Ice-cold flexibility: The G 510A HC is a modular unit without integrated storage. Storage is handled by external Brema storage containers – e.g., Bin 110, Bin 200, Bin 350, Bin 550V DS, DRB 100, DRB 500, DRB 1200, or RB 100. This allows you to scale storage volume and workflow exactly as needed – and retrofit at any time.

From fish and delicatessen presentation to buffets and mise en place to wellness/medicine, flake ice cools gently and evenly. Chemical/pharmaceutical and industrial applications also use the cleanly distributable, easily moldable flake cold.

The ice maker's design concept features an AISI 304 stainless steel housing with robust and hygienic surfaces, rounded inner edges, and easily accessible, removable components for efficient cleaning routines.
