Sugar cane grows in tropical areas and its caulis contains of 20% sugar. For getting sugar, the sugar cane caulis has to be squeezed. Consequently the juice is very polluted. Other special substances bound the turbidity materials and later on those are filtered out. After cleaning, sugar syrup thicken it. Finally the cane sugar crystallizes and the cane sugar gets washed. These last two working processes should be repeated and you get white sugar, the refined sugar. The unrefined sugar is called "Muskovade".
