The Hoshizaki IM-240XWPE series combines water-cooled refrigeration technology with a modular and stackable design, making it ideal for professional applications with high or growing ice demand. The units are supplied without an integrated storage bin, allowing compatible bins to be selected and combined individually.
Thanks to the modular concept, multiple units can be stacked in a space-saving configuration and production capacity can be expanded whenever required. This system is particularly suitable for businesses with changing operational demands or increasing ice production requirements.
The proven closed cell system is used for ice production: each ice cube is formed individually using fresh water, while excess water is carefully drained away. Automatic rinse cycles reduce mineral build-up and ensure clear, compact, and neutral-tasting ice cubes.
A closed water circuit reliably protects the entire production process from contamination and guarantees consistently high ice quality. At the same time, the magnetic DC water pump without direct coupling ensures precise water circulation while increasing operational reliability and machine longevity.
The electronic control system continuously monitors all production processes and ensures stable performance even under changing conditions. Automatic cleaning functions and easily accessible maintenance components simplify daily operation.
The water-cooled refrigeration system enables reliable ice production even in environments with high ambient temperatures or limited airflow. The units use the natural refrigerant R290. Optional UV-C hygiene functions and additional accessories can be added. The unit is supplied with an installation kit, a support bracket, and an ice scoop.
For water-cooled units, the condenser circuit should be connected to a closed-loop system. Connecting such equipment directly to the mains water supply may violate local water authority regulations.
