This simple but functional strainer in Hawthorne style (characteristic is its metal spiral) is a perfect entry-level model for beginners.With this device you hold back ice cubes, fruit particles or other solid ingredients while you pour the drink into the glass.
It fits all stirring glasses and shakers of about 8cm - 9.5cm diameter.
The strainer is made of gold-coated stainless steel. The upstanding tab is used to stabilize and move of the screen with the index or middle finger. (It certainly is not a bad idea to watch a few online videos about this). The spring can be easily removed from the holder for cleaning purposes and replaced afterwards.
