This Chardonnay glass from Zwiesel Glas's 'Verbelle' series uses its varietal-specific design to get the best flavor out of acid-driven Chardonnay wines. Its goblet is high-sided and straight-lined, and also features a deep-set belly. This shape ensures that the characteristic acidity, as well as other aroma components, can develop in an excellently harmonic ratio. The elongation of the glass allows a column of fragrance to rise and condense, supporting the intensity of the typical flavor profile. To give a little tingle to the one or the other Chardonnay grape, the goblet also has got a mousse point. The elongated goblet sits enthroned on a slender, equally straight stem, at the end of which is a flat, expansive glass foot. The wine glass is made of Zwiesel's patented Tritan crystal glass. This material not only ensures dishwasher resistance, but also guarantees unique light refraction and hence a high-quality sparkle.
