The Hoshizaki IM-240AWPE series is designed for high-performance and reliable ice production in professional environments with demanding conditions. As water-cooled modular ice machines, these units are particularly suitable for locations where high ambient temperatures or limited ventilation can affect the efficiency of air-cooled systems.

The units are supplied without an integrated storage bin and are intended to be combined with separate ice storage bins, which must be selected and installed בהתאם specific requirements. This modular concept allows flexible adaptation to different capacity needs and applications.

Ice is produced using the proven closed cell system: each ice cube is formed individually using fresh water, while excess water is drained away. Automatic rinse cycles reduce mineral build-up and ensure clear, compact, and neutral-tasting ice cubes.

A closed water circuit protects the production process from contamination and supports consistently high ice quality. At the same time, a magnetic DC water pump with variable speed ensures efficient water flow and reliable operation.

The electronic control system continuously monitors the production process and ensures stable performance even under changing conditions. Integrated cleaning and maintenance functions simplify daily operation.

The water-cooled refrigeration system ensures consistent performance regardless of ambient temperature and enables reliable ice production even in challenging installation environments. The units use the natural refrigerant R290 and are designed for energy-efficient operation.

For applications with increased hygiene requirements, the series can optionally be upgraded with a UV-C hygiene function, which is not included as standard. The unit is supplied with an ice chute, installation kit, and ice scoop, and is compatible with a range of Hoshizaki storage bins that must be ordered and installed separately.

Note: For water-cooled units, the condenser circuit should be connected to a closed-loop system. Connecting such equipment directly to the mains water supply may violate local water authority regulations.
