This classically shaped julep cup made of polished stainless steel is decorated with humorous tattoo motifs that are reminiscent of sailors and the freedom of the oceans. The fascinating cocktail cup holds about 400ml and is dishwasher-proof.
For pirates with a sweet tooth, we recommend this fruity Rum Julep!
Ingredients:
- 4 mint leaves
- 3cl white rum
- 2cl passion fruit liqueur
- 2cl lemon juice
- 3cl strawberry puree
- 1cl passion fruit puree
- apple juice
Preparation: Put the mint leaves into the julep cup and muddle to release the flavors. Then fill the cup three-quarters with crushed ice and add the strawberry and passion fruit purees, the rum, the passion fruit liqueur and the lemon juice. Stir well with a bar spoon and then fill the cup with apple juice. Add enough ice to create a small mountain of ice on the cup. Mint leaves are a typical decoration for Juleps. BUT as this is not your typical Julep cocktail, you might as well experiment with alternative deco elements. For example, take colorful cocktail pickers in the shape of swords to spear strawberries!
