This cocktail cup is a fancy mixture of classic form and modern interpreted Tiki motifs. This makes the 400ml stainless steel mug the right choice for a traditional Mint Julep, as well as fruity Tiki cocktails.

What makes this metal Julep cup so special are the engraved motifs from the world of Tiki culture. Spread all over the polished exterior are Tiki masks, palm trees, pineapples, lightly dressed beauties, and much more, which makes us think of sun-blessed pacific beaches.

Classic is the shape with a step-shaped bottom, which acts as a base for the slightly conical cup. The thick bottom prevents the ice from melting too soon. The cup widens slightly upwards and has a rim diameter of 8,5cm.

The unusual Julep cup asks for an unsusual Mint Julep - like this recipe for a sweet-fresh-spicy rum-based Julep cocktail with ginger and maple syrup:

Ingredients:
- 3g ginger (or more for those who like it spicy)
- 10 mint leaves
- 1 tea spoon maple syrup
- 6cl aged rum

Preparation: Cut the ginger into thin slices, put into the Julep cup and muddle the ginger until the juice comes out. Add the mint leaves and maple syrup and continue to muddle everything together. Then add the rum and stir well. Gradually add crushed ice and mix thoroughly with the other ingredients using a mixing spoon until the cocktail cup is not only full but crowned by a mountain of crushed ice. You can use a few mint leaves for decoration and put a sustainable drinking straw (e.g. made of stainless steel) in the Julep cup.
