Well-known and popular types are the powerful but sweetish Hokkaido, the muscat pumpkin, the sweet nutty Early Butternut and the large orange yellow pumpkin called "Gelber Zentner". Botanically, these fruits belong to the berry fruits and are annual plants. Pumpkins have a high percentage of antioxidants and a soothing and preventive effect with infections. Moreover, the pumpkin is rich in beta- carotene and fibres. The fruit pulp, kernels and oil are mainly used for soups, casseroles, marmalade and cake.

Hot Pumpkin Pie
4,5cl Monin Syrup Pumpkin Spice
6cl Cranberry juice
4,5cl Spiced Rum
9cl hot water
Pour ingredients into the hot water, stir and serve.
