This Bourbon glass might be larger than its companions in the world of bourbon whiskey tastings, however its purpose remains the same. The curved walls guide the aromas to the nose and the bulbous shape allows to warm the bourbon while holding it in the palm of the hand.
This finely curved tumbler is a Bourbon tasting glass from Spiegelau's 'Special Glasses' range. It stands on a thick glass base from where the side walls are first convex and form a small belly, but then open slightly outwards. This allows the aromas to be directed to the nose when tasting, which intensifies the gustatory experience.
