This glass from the 'Style' series by Spiegelau is an expansive red wine balloon. The particularly steep outer curvature of its walls makes for a distinctive look. The bottom of the wine chalice is rather conical than round and therefore lies comfortably in the slightly open palm of the hand. The red wine balloon is made of crystal glass and has got thin walls, which gives it a certain brilliance. In correlation with the exciting shape of the glass, this results in a refined yet elegant charm. This makes the 'Style' glasses ideal for contemporary, festive occasions.
This red wine balloon from the 'Style' series by Spiegelau is particularly expansive, even for a red wine glass. The steep curve in the outer walls of the goblet visually stretches it out and at the same time gives red wines enough surface area to breathe. Despite its opulent silhouette, the glass appears delicate and elegant. This is due to the fact that it is made of wafer-thin crystal glass, which provides a brilliant shine and presents darkly nuanced wines in an appealing way. With a rim diameter of 10,7cm, the balloon glass is 22,5cm high.

1Note: The specified 'total volume' (also referred to as gross capacity) of a glass indicates the maximum amount of liquid it can hold when filled to the brim. In contrast, the 'fill volume' (also referred to as usable volume or serving volume) describes the practically usable amount. Both values are given in ml or l. Due to production conditions, a tolerance of ±5% may occur, which corresponds to industry standards and does not constitute a defect.
