This decanter from the 'Willsberger Anniversary' collection by Spiegelau thrives on its sweeping shape. From the top, the side walls initially run concave before opening up again to form the broad, elliptical belly of the decanter. The whole decanter stands on a wide base via a short, sturdy stem. This is unusual for a carafe, but gives it an even sleeker look.
The wine decanter is filled with your selected red wine to the widest part of the belly, giving the wine as much surface area as possible to interact with oxygen - or in other words: to decant.

This unique decanter from the 'Willsberger Anniversary' series by Spiegelau comes with a stem and a stand. This is rather unusual for wine carafes, but here it provides a fresh look that underlines the curvature of the 1l vessel. The wine decanter has an almost elliptically shaped belly and a long, concave neck that only opens slightly towards the rim.
'Willsberger Anniversary' celebrates the mouth-blown 'Willsberger' series and is produced by machine at Spiegelau - and is therefore available at a lower price, but with the usual high quality.
