The two-piece cocktail shaker is made of brass and plated in silver. It consists of a shaker cup and the matching lid. This combination is also known as a 'French shaker' or 'French style'. The silver surface oxidizes over time and forms stains where the shaker has been touched. This great effect ensures that each shaker is unique and constantly changes in appearance.
