The Julep strainer Biloxi by Urban Bar is made of stainless steel and copper-plated. Originating from the 19th century, Julep strainer were firstly used to hold back ice cubes and mint during drinking. Due to the implementation of drinking straws, the Julep strainer found its today´s position and was used to strain drinks into the guests glass before serving.
This Julep strainer has the shape of a shell and is equipped with small holes. Moreover, the handle has a bend close to the spoon and ensures therefore stability and prevents slipping. This bartool should not be missing in any bar and will convince you with its classical but still unique design.
