The bitters bottle with a capacity of 50ml can be filled with cocktail bitters to be used to enhance cocktails and other mixed drinks. The combination of the dash bottle made of transparent glass with a copper-colored spout looks astonishing and fits other copper bar tools on the counter. The see-through glass and the distinctive copper color also make it easy to spot a certain bitter, when multiple dash bottles are being used. The bottle has a long neck, which serves as a handle. Towards the bottom, the bottle gets wider and takes on a decagonal shape. This shape generates a low center of gravity and makes the bottle easy to grab and put back. When swung upside down, a dash of approx. 3-4 drops is released by the spout. Depending on the bitter, this may be enough to add a distinctive layer to a given drink.
Originally introduced as herb mixtures from medicine, cocktail bitters have evolved into a complex parameter in the bar and mixology culture. Therefore, there is no one correct bitter for any specific drink. From coffee to fruits and traditional herbs, a few drops may create that certain taste signature with a new layer.
