You will enjoy this Boston shaker for a particularly long time, as the stainless steel has been hard nickel-plated. This refinement makes the cocktail shaker more resistant to water, air, diluted acids, and most alkalis than conventional powder-coated and lacquered shakers. Please note, however, that the Boston shaker may only be cleaned by hand.
The bright silver color and shiny surface give it an elegant look. Furthermore, the shaker cup is weighted with a base cap and is heavy, which keeps it stable. The shaker wall is one millimeter thick and sturdy. Thanks to its large diameter of more than 9 cm, you can also use this cocktail shaker for flair bartending, for example to catch spirit bottles.
