When throughput and cycle times are high, the Brema TM 250A HC nugget ice maker reliably delivers up to 245 kg of nugget ice per 24 hours. The compact nuggets (approx. 13 × 18 × 13 mm) cool drinks quickly, can be scooped cleanly and dosed precisely by weight or volume – ideal for bars, buffet lines and fresh food displays.

The goal of good nugget ice production is to produce hard, glass-friendly ice pieces with good cold transfer – in reliable quantities and of consistently high quality. To achieve this, water is frozen into ice in the double-walled stainless steel evaporator of the Brema nugget ice maker, pressed and then broken into dense, uniform nuggets.

This ice maker uses R290 (propane) as a refrigerant – both efficient and environmentally friendly, as R290 has a very low greenhouse effect. Air cooling requires clean airflow at the installation site to ensure stable performance.

As a modular device, the TM 250A HC does not have an integrated storage tank. It is combined with an external Brema container to provide the appropriate storage capacity. There are various container models to choose from: Bin 110, Bin 200, Bin 350, DRB 100, RB 100 (all available from Barstuff.de). This allows you to scale your storage and floor space exactly as required.

Whether for cocktail and long drink stations, hotel and restaurant service, or event catering: nugget ice cools quickly, remains stable, and is pleasant to chew. It has also proven itself in wellness & spa and medical applications. It also ensures dimensionally stable, easily dosable cooling for the presentation, storage, and production of fish and delicacies, as well as in industrial processes.

The TM 250A HC is designed for continuous operation and durability. To ensure that hygiene and ice quality remain reliably high in everyday use, the stainless steel housing (AISI 304) with robust and hygienic surfaces is easy to maintain. Rounded edges in the interior and removable components shorten regular cleaning routines.

To ensure flawless operation and reliably high performance right from the start, professional installation is a prerequisite. We also recommend a water filter that reduces limescale and particles – for high ice quality, a long system life, and predictable maintenance intervals.
