Until the 19th century, beer was bottled in glass and ceramic bottles closed with a cork or rubber plug. These closing caps could´nt stand the pressure of the carbonic acid without any help of wire or piece of rope. In search of a better possibility to close and transport beer bottles in a saver way, the flip top bottle was developed in 1875.
This flip top bottle has a capacity of 1000ml and a straight shape. Fill this bottle with homemade juice, liqueurs or iced teas.
