The champagne glass from Riedel's entry-level 'Ouverture' series is suitable for a wide range of champagne and sparkling wine varieties. The classical stem glass supports these in bubbling, foaming and even in the development of taste. Its goblet is well-shaped and in balanced proportion to the rest of the filigree champagne glass. Its glass stem tapers towards the center, only to open up again towards the base. Such a concave stem silhouette is very pleasant to hold between the fingers, as well as to guide the glass. As the stem opens towards the bottom, it merges directly and seamlessly into the thick-walled glass base.
