The Champagne glass from the series 'Performance' by Riedel is adorned by a wave-like motif. The pattern extends from the rim to about half the height of the calyx and enlarges the inner surface of the glass. At the same time it introduces an optical effect to the champagne glass. With a diameter of 8cm, it is comparatively wide, however the long stem makes it reach a height of 24,5cm after all. The overall thin-walled design is contrasted by a wide bottom plate which gives the Champagne glass a credible robustness while still being filigree to the touch.
