This black cutting board has a juice groove to prevent the surrounding work surface from getting wet and dirty. The groove keeps the juice of cut fruit as well as any other liquids you are working with safely on the board.
The cutting board measures 32.5 x 26.5 cm and has rounded edges. The material HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is hard and particularly resistant to knife cuts and scratches. The silicone feet are about 4 mm high; they provide a firm stand as well as some distance from any potential wetness underneath the board.
Please note that polyethylene should not be cleaned in the dishwasher as this can warp the material.
These black cutting boards may have streaks in the material due to the production process – however, this does not affect their function in any way.
