This 1,7-liter decanter is the magnum version of the 'Cabernet' decanter by Riedel. Similar in shape to its little sibling, it convinces with a flared lip and a concave bottle neck that opens wide towards the bottom and thereby forms the belly of the vessel. This belly is provided with a bulge high above the base, at which filled-in wine is automatically exposed to the greatest surface area of air. The side walls form a tight curve at this point. The appealing result is a silhouette in profile that is remotely reminiscent of a diamond shape, giving the carafe its unique, elegantly sublime charm. As the product name already reveals, this crystal glass decanter has got enough space for the contents of a magnum wine bottle, whether red or white.
