The screw has a soul and is coated with Teflon for slipping into the cork easily and not breaking it or producing crumbs. There also is an integrated iron knife with a serrated blade to remove the cuffs from bottles.
While the outer side of the lever arm is made of iron with white colored coating, it has a plastic inlay for an ergonomic and secure grip.
