The home country of the melon is still unexplained: wheather India, Orient or Africa. The fruit is round shaped or oval and has a thick peel. The flesh is light yellow to green yellow, orange to greenish coloured. It has a subtle,melting and very juicy consistency. It tastes light and intensive sweet, juicy and has a typical sweet flavour of ripe melon.
