The measuring cup 'The Grail' was designed by Bartender Tom Dyer to combine functionality and wow factor. Both are united in the form of the jigger, reminiscent of a goblet with a long stem - or the Holy Grail from the legends of the Middle Ages.
'The Grail' is completely nickel plated and polished on the outside. The 7,5cm high stem occupies more than half the total height. On top sits the 50ml cup. A wide base provides stability and forms the counterweight to the cup during pouring. This is how the bar jigger keeps getting upright if you balance it between your fingers.
Inside the cup two scales are provided: 10/20/30/40ml are marked by deep circulating lines; furthermore short dashes mark the intermediate steps 15/25/35/45ml. All in all, you can measure 9 different quantities in just one cup.
From the Crusades to Hollywood, the Holy Grail promises eternal life to those who drink from it. We can't promise that.
