This elegant mixing glass has a diameter of 10 cm and is 24 cm high. It is made of the finest glass and has a capacity of 650 ml. It is also tapered, in other words, it is modeled after a carafe. This makes the glass easy to hold in your hand. Quickly and easily stir the ingredients with a long bar spoon and pour the stirred cocktail into the appropriate cocktail glass. It also has a seamless finish. The fine, large spout allows you to work with precision.
In addition to cocktails that are shaken and stirred directly in the appropriate glass, there are also those that are stirred in a so-called mixing glass. When stirring, all ingredients must be mixed together very intensively, and this is best done with utensils such as a bar spoon or a whisk. To prepare, place ice cubes and the desired ingredients in the mixing glass and stir with a spoon or similar utensil. When serving the drink, strain it through a sieve or strainer into the guest's glass. Classic stirred drinks such as martinis or Manhattans are served without ice, but are prepared with ice cubes. If you are preparing a carbonated cocktail or want the drink to remain clear, use a mixing glass. For drinks with thick ingredients such as juices, milk, syrups, cream, or egg, use a shaker, as these ingredients are not so easy to mix together.
Note: The glass can be placed in the dishwasher for hygienic cleaning. Please allow it to cool sufficiently afterwards and do not use it immediately for mixing again to avoid thermal shock and possible shattering. Especially during operation, it is advisable to have several glasses in use so that cleaned glasses can cool down undisturbed.
