Mirabelle plums belong to the plum family and are the smallest of more than 2,000 different varieties. They are rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C, and B vitamins. They are also low in acidity and therefore suitable for almost everyone. These sweet fruits are often eaten raw as a snack or used to make jam.
Monin has captured the fruity flavor of these small, yellowish fruits in this bottle. It’s perfect for enhancing and creating cocktails, as well as for making desserts, lemonades, or iced teas.
Recipe Idea: Fruity Mirabelle:
3 cl vodka
2 cl maraschino liqueur
4 cl cranberry juice
1 cl Monin Mirabelle Syrup
1 dash lime juice
Ice cubes
Place the ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass, garnish with cranberries, and serve.
