The Oaked Chardonnay glass from the 'Veritas' collection impresses with a wide open, rather squat-looking goblet. This gives the aromatic complexity of Chardonnay white wines an adequate spreading space and thus a gustatory stage. The expansive 620ml goblet sits on a straight, thin stem that ultimately blends seamlessly into a flat and wide glass foot. The delicacy of the glass walls as well as the composition of its components lend the Chardonnay glass an unobtrusively refined grace.
The manufacturer Riedel is known for tailoring their wine glasses exactly to the needs of certain grape varieties. This has again been achieved with this white wine glass. And at the same time it surprises with its bulbous, wide shape, which is seldom seen in conventional white wine glasses.
