This bulbous glass from the series 'Riedel O' is designed for the enjoyment of light red wines. As a grape varietal specific red wine glass it is especially suitable for Musigny, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir Old World and Romanée Saint Vivant.
Since the wine glass does not feature a stem, it has a flat bottom and sits on the table like a very wide tumbler. That's also why, besides wine, the wine glass can be used for many other drinks such as cocktails and tropical juices. It offers a medium-large capacity for ice cubes and presents the drinks in a casual, modern way.
The thin crystal glass is made in the usual Riedel quality and the tulip shaped chalice fits a traditional set of glassware as well as a more casual atmosphere.
