This plastic pourer is also also a practical bar tool for portioning 3cl shots. A special system of two metal balls inside stops the flow automatically at 1,5cl. Therefore, they do not need a jigger and can portion clear spirits straight from the bottle into the glass without any losses.
Insert the pourer into the bottle opening. Its plastic lamellae ensure a secure hold. Grab the bottle by the neck - as close to the pourer as possible. Then turn your arm in a swift motion until the bottle is at an angle of approx. 45 degrees and the spout points vertically downwards. At this point, the spirit should start to flow and stop automatically at 1,5cl. If too much or too little liquid is poured out, please start again and correct the angle of the arm/bottle. With a little practice, you can perform the movement several times in quick succession. Before first use, it may be useful to moisten the portioner with alcohol.
For cleaning it is best to use lukewarm water and mild soapy water.
Please note that this 1,5cl pourer is only suitable for clear spirits. It does not work with thicker drinks like liqueur, syrup or fruit juice.
