The Riesling and Zinfandel glass from the 'Vinum' series by Riedel enchants with its slender stature and the functional advantages that this holds. The wine glass features an elongated and high-rising goblet. This on the one hand creates a dense column of fragrance, and on the other hand provides compression and intensification of aromas. Thus, the Riesling/Zinfandel glass is able to emphasize the fruitiness of the specific grape varieties, while relativizing and balancing out the acidity and any residual sugar. Although this Vinum glass has got a typical white wine glass shape, it is suitable for some selected red grape varieties, such as Zinfandel. In the case of this grape, the slender chalice balances the natural minerality, allowing the wine's fresh components to appear more prominent.
