The Shiraz glass from the series 'Extreme' by Riedel is characterized by a relatively large goblet of 709ml. This chalice features a low-lying, almost angularly bent belly, in which the intense aromas can unfold. From there, the side walls taper upwards, forming a relatively narrow mouth rim. This ensures a controlled rise of the aromatic fragrance column and also creates a prolonged, sweet finish on the palate. As a result, the 24,4cm wine glass is able to present and even accentuate the full-bodied fruitiness of Shiraz wines. The color of the red wine is also highlighted by the highly transparent crystal glass.
