The magnum red wine glass from Spiegelau's 'Vino Grande' series is perfect for portraying high-quality, tannin-focused grape varieties such as Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The deep, evenly shaped tulip goblet, whose height makes up the majority of the wine glass's 22,5cm format, serves this very purpose. In contrast to the fine-rimmed goblet, the glass stem appears to be rather short and squat, while its concave profile is shapely and grippy. With a maximum diameter of 9,4cm, the red wine glass holds a total of 620ml.
This red wine glass from Spiegelau's 'Vino Grande' range comes in a large Magnum format and is suitable for tannin-rich grape varieties such as Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. That's mostly due to its well thought out tulip shape. The thin-walled chalice is very deep, slender in stature, and accounts for most of the glass's total height of 22,5cm. It contrasts the short stem underneath the goblet. Its profile is concavely curved and widens upward towards the calyx and downwards to blend into the reinforced base plate.
