This decanter from the 'Willsberger Anniversary' collection by Spiegelau thrives on its sweeping shape. From the top, the side walls initially run concave before opening up again to form the broad, elliptical belly of the decanter. The whole decanter stands on a wide base via a short, sturdy stem. This is unusual for a carafe, but gives it an even sleeker look.

From the broad, elliptical belly of the vessel, the side walls of the neck initially run strongly concave before opening slightly again to form a flared lip.
