Lime and sediments from the tap water can have a negative impact on the taste and quality of drinks and dishes. Therefore kitchen appliances like coffee machines, kettles, steamers and ice machines, which use tap water, need to be descaled on a regular basis. The Suma Calc D5 descaler can be used for such kitchen devices. Mix approx. 50ml of the Suma Calc D5 descaler with 1L of water and fill the device with the mixture. Note that many electronic kitchen appliances like coffee machines and ice machines have desicated descale programs. Therefore, please make sure to read the cleaning instructions in the paperwork prior to using this descaler.
For devices without a cleaning program, such as kettles, allow the diluted mixture to work for 10-15 minutes and then rinse the device thoroughly.
