This small tea glass called 'Optik' is just made for authentic oriental tea enjoyment. In Turkey, no household is complete without a set of such tea glasses! The famous Turkish black tea is enjoyed at almost any time of day and occasion, but especially in social gatherings. The small glass mug comes with a characteristic curved figure that holds 120ml. In the confined space, the complex flavors of tea and herbs condense so that they come out even better.
Up to about 1,5cm below the rim, the sidewalls are subtly textured: Wide but very shallow notches make their way up side to side. These optics have a great effect on filled in tea: it refracts incident light and creates bright light reflections on the golden brown color of the tea itself. Decelerate the everyday life with a dignified glass of tea in between!
