This white wine glass from Riedel's grape varietal-specific 'Veritas' glass collection is designed for serving Viognier and Chardonnay. To support the fruity core and complex aroma facets of these grape varieties, it has a fine-walled tulip goblet. Its sidewalls hardly tilt towards each other towards the top, so they run almost parallel and form a relatively wide mouth rim of 6,3cm. In addition to emphasizing the fruity conciseness of such wines, the goblet shape also ensures a long, balanced finish on the palate. Like most of the other glasses in this series, the Viognier/Chardonnay glass features a long, very thin stem and a flat but expansive base. Combined with the very thin walls of the goblet, these features create a particularly graceful, elegant impression.
