Water Filter
Water filters are used to improve the quality of water or filter unwanted components. They come in a wide variety of sizes and are used for a wide variety of purposes: As large filters for water treatment (i.e. in waterworks); as filter cans for home use or for fixed installation at the water connection.
The latter variant is the most relevant in our industry. Its use is recommended in connection with large ice cube makers; this benefits not only the perfect quality of the cubes, but also the machines themselves. Especially in regions with very chalky tap water, a water filter can prolong the life of your ice maker.
