Who would have thought that one can serve Whisky in a wine glass? - probably no one. However the Whisky glass from the 'Optical O' series by Riedel is reminiscent of a stemless white wine glass, which was repurposed into a handy tumbler. The bulbous glass is not circular, as it appears at first glance, but rather has slight waves that are only noticeable when light hits it. Then the glass looks completely distinctive and easily becomes an elegant eye-catcher on a laid table. However it is also suitable as a casual water glass for everyday use. Since it's a classic tumbler, the Whisky glass belongs to the Riedel 'Tumbler Collection' - an expanding compilation of striking barware by Riedel.
