'Hommage Glace' - as the name of the series suggests, the elaborately cut glassware is a tribute to ice (French: la glace). And what would be more fitting, than a good old whisky on ice?
This whisky glass by Zwiesel Glas has got an opulent capacity with a height of 9,1cm and a diameter of 9,6cm. This gives drinks such as smoky whisky enough room to develop their complex aromas and to swirl around one or more large ice cubes. Both of which are visually underlined by the peculiar cut of the glass, which in its complex cut pattern is reminiscent of delicate ice crystals.
