The allround wine glass from Zwiesel's 'Volume' series combines straight lines in the shape of the glass with a curved pattern, resulting in an attractive visual contrast.
The goblet has a straightforward, angular silhouette with a modern look. With this shape, the allround wine glass goes well with minimalist furnishing styles, clear shapes and high-quality wines. The second visual highlight of the wine glass can be found in the wide base, which ensures good stability: a sound wave pattern is embossed into the base from below. The top of the base is smooth, but the pattern shines through. This unagitated, organic design is the hallmark of the Volume series and can also be found in the base of the tumblers, which can be wonderfully combined with the Volume stemware.
A nucleation point at the base of the allround wine glass ensures that carbon dioxide bubbles rise to the top in a controlled manner. This feature really stands out when serving wine spritzers or champagne-based cocktails, to name just a few examples.
Like all glasses of the series, the Volume allround wine glass is made of brillant crystal glass from the works of Zwiesel. The widest part of the goblet is near the base. From there, the walls extend only slightly inwards until they reach the smallest diameter at the edge of the glass.
