Blood Orange got its name for its ruby, blood-coloured flesh. Which character traitoriginates from the mixture of the pomelo and the tangerine orange. Originally does the blood orange come from Sizilia, Italy. The flesh tastes acerbic and aromatic and is commonly used for extracting juice. Moreover the flesh is coloured from red to magenta which is up to the climate. The intense colouration, the differenttemperature between night and day.
Unlike the common orange, blood orange is less of acid and rich in colour. You make the difference with this Blood Orange syrup!
