By using the metal lever, a negative pressure is created inside the bottle which makes the bottle stopper sit firmly in the opening of the bottle. The flexible and food-safe plastic cork seals the bottle airtight. Its diameter measures 1,7-1,9cm and is suitable for standard sparkling wine bottles. When sealed, the sparkling effect of the carbonated wine is preserved for another day.
