Citrus Squeezer (electric)
These electric squeezers are built on the same principle as manual citrus squeezers - however, the motorized squeezing cones of these devices are powered by electric current; the halved fruit simply needs to be pressed into the cone, which requires much less force. Some models are even equipped with a device that eliminates the need to press the fruit by hand.
All devices have a high body, at the top of which is the pressing cone and spout. Some squeezers have an additional pedestal, recess or even a projection for a glass, which is simply placed under the spout in all models.
The housing of the electric citrus juicers are made of stainless steel, aluminum or light alloys. Often there are also chrome-plated elements. Other parts, especially removable ones such as the squeezing cones, on the other hand, are made of plastic. Thanks to these removable components, the devices are easier to clean.
A frequent extra are different sized pressing cones, with which one can flexibly adjust to different sized fruits (e.g. lemons and grapefruits).
