Cocktail stirrers
Cocktail stirrers are sticks for stirring cocktails and are also simply known as stirrers. They are made of different materials such as plastic, glass or stainless steel and are also available in different shapes. The ends that are used to stir the drink, often come in the shape of small balls, plates or spindles. Some stirrers are also available in different colors; In addition to stirring drinks, stirrers are also often used to mark drinks or to avoid mix-ups.
A special type of stirrers are so-called tonic tampers, which have a small, flat tamper at the bottom, that is suitable for muddling cocktail ingredients such as pieces of fruit or mint in the glass in order to mix their juice, aromas, etc. with the drink.
