These GN-containers comply with the basic dimensions of the European Gastronorm standard, in other words they are labeled as 1/1. This means that their external dimensions incl. rim (L x W) uniformly measure 53,0 x 32,5cm and only the depths of the individual specimens vary.
Due to their even edges and identical GN measurements, all GN 1/1 containers can be stacked inside of each other, which is a great advantage in terms of transport, storage and tidiness. The Gastronorm containers are made of stainless steel with a material thickness of approx. 0,7 cm. Properties like dishwasher safety, heat and cold resistance, low thermal conductivity and high robustness make the containers ideal for an intensive and long-term use in large kitchens and the food industry. In particular, the GN 1/1 containers are employed at buffets, hot counters (in water baths), in transport and storage, as well as for the use in ovens, freezers and refrigerated counters.

This shallow Gastronorm pan is made of high quality stainless steel. Therefore, it convinces with properties such as dishwasher resistance, high temperature resistance as well as robustness. Thus the GN 1/1 container is ideal for large-caliber gastronomy and the industrial food production.
The depth of this container amounts to 6,5cm, so that it is large in surface area, but relatively flat in general. Its external dimensions correspond to the GN designation 1/1, which describes the basic size of the European norming. Therefore you can combine containers of all other GN dimensions in this GN pan. It can also be perfectly stacked into each other with other gastronorm containers of 1/1 scaling, even if they have a different depth. This is a great advantage especially when storing, transporting and putting away the containers.
