With GN containers, the food is always well sorted - be it in the kitchen or at the serving. These inserts are particularly suitable for water baths and in the preparation kitchen. These Gastronorm containers correspond to the GN 1/3 standard and can be combined with other sizes. The stainless steel used is of high quality and the food containers are therefore very stable and food-safe.

This pierced Gastronorm container has the GN 1/3 standard and is compatible with other containers of the European gastronomy standard (GN). The dimensions of the different sizes are in proportion to each other in a way that they can be arranged efficiently and in a space-saving way even without a framing board. Also the folded, evenly tapered edges of the container are typical of GN vessels. They can be held, transported and stacked at the edges.
The walls and bottom of this GN-container are perforated. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for storing and serving ice cubes, fruits and vegetables, as their melting and washing water, as well as fruit juice can drain through the regular holes. The cuboid GN1/3 container is hence mainly used in refrigerated counters, at buffets, for transport, washing and (frozen) food storage. However, the stainless steel container is also heat-resistant and can be used to steam food.
The GN 1/3 container with holes can also be perfectly combined with our 50x30x30cm sink (order no. 1969). When hanging the perforated GN container in the 30cm deep basin, there is still space below. Now you can pour wet waste such as ice, pieces of fruit or leftover drinks into it. The liquids drain through the holes into the sink and you can dispose of the dry waste.
